Monique & Erik {Historic Rice Mill Wedding}

Monique and Erik first met when Erik was in the Air Force.  He had recently moved in with a friend who ended up living across the street from Monique and her parents.  One day Monique came to the house to help pack their friend up for a move, met Erik, and the rest is history.  They hit it off right away and have been inseparable ever since.  From their first date at the movie theatre, to traveling the world together, it is clear that these two were just meant to be.  Family and friends came from near and far to celebrate the love of this amazing couple, and what a celebration it was.  Monique and Erik wanted the vibe of their wedding to match their personalities- outgoing and celebratory. Having a Historic Rice Mill wedding served as the perfect venue to reflect the couple’s beautiful aesthetic preferences.  I absolutely adored everything about being a part of this day.  From the beautiful details handmade by the bride herself (who is a very talented graphic designer), to the gorgeous blooms by Tiger Lily Florist and the amazing food courtesy of Good Food Catering.  My favorite aspect of this day, despite the gorgeous spread, was the pure love and emotion shared between all who attended.  The tearful speeches and long, hard hugs are something I will remember from this celebration for a long time.

Monique and Erik, I am so happy to have shared in this beautiful day with the two of you.  I wish you all the happiness in the world, and the best of luck for your new chapter at MIT in Massachusetts.  I hope you enjoy some of my many, many favorites from the day :).
